3 Things I Learned While Managing A Household With Two Children

Set a timer to do housework and move like crazy to get it done.

  • Whatever you don't accomplish during that time, wait until the next time.

  • Limit your distractions like the TV, cellphone use, and things of that nature.

Utilize the older kids' nap time to do tedious stuff for the smaller child.

  • This is when ill usually cut my baby's nails, give her a more extended bath, or do some skin-to-skin uninterrupted.

  • I also use this time to rotate toys for my three-year-old. That way, he wakes up to a new environment and is less likely to bother me LOL

Left-overs are your best friend.

  • I was never huge on left-overs; I like to cook fresh food.

  • Now I love to repurpose food or eat that leftover chicken in between changing a diaper and doing ABC's

(some of you may be better than me, and if you are good for you!)
