My Thoughts About Aluminum Free Deodorant

I have been feeling inclined to be more aware of what chemicals are in the things I use every day.

This thought applies to facial products, body products; you name it- I've thought about it.

I have also been reading a ton about how to substitute the things I usually use around the house to clean and cook for more sustainable and healthy choices.

The road for me began with aluminum-free deodorant. Of course, I started with The Deodorant by Nécessaire. I loved this one and still do. It kept me dry while also making sure I smelled decent throughout the day.

When we moved to Russia, I didn't have time to order it. A crazy, apocalyptic snowstorm hit Dallas, and no one was delivering packages.

I came across the Native Deodorant and decided to try it.

I'm on about a month of using this one now. I like it, but it doesn't keep me as dry as the Nècessaire one.

I realize that it'll take my body a little time to detox, though, and I've heard that's when some of the natural deodorants start to WORK.

You don't stink; you stay dryer.

Though I want to stay dry, I will say that it's good for your body to sweat. That is one of the ways the body detoxes—a harsh but very true reality.
