Na'im's Daily Snack
We love to feed Na'im a range of fruits and veggies. Not only is it healthy for him vitamin wise, but I've noticed the cleaner his diet is, the more balanced he is. Two-year-olds have their ups and downs with hormones, growing and trying to find their independence. The best way we can support him as his parents are to curate a healthy diet for his brain to run on. Every day and ALL DAY, Na'im wants to snack.
Usually, that comes down to two choices for us. Give him something quick like a cereal bar or maybe ritz crackers. Then I began to realize just as easy as it is to pull those out of the pantry, its equally as easy to go ahead and cut up some fresh fruits and or veggies. Eating more fresh and local has become our midday snack tradition, and I've noticed a good change in Na'im's mood and diet.
We try and keep:
raspberries
strawberries
banana
and melons
I hope this helps!
